Welcome to Mathom House, David Attryde, M.S., L.P.C. Vice President of Inpatient Programs and Services
As Vice-President for Inpatient Programs and Services it is my pleasure to comment on our enduring tradition of providing quality residential treatment to young men and their families. Mathom House has been operating since 1986 and has endeavored to improve the safety of our communities by rehabilitating juvenile sexual offenders and their families.

We have developed a tradition of excellence by providing a safe and trauma informed environment where our young men are surrounded with adults who model appropriate interpersonal skills and boundaries while encouraging residents to self-improve through behavior modification goals and intensive individualized therapy. This agency believes in treating the “whole person”, promoting wide ranging wellness to improve the prospects of the resident living an adaptive and fulfilling life, free from interpersonal violence. We foster personal accountability for past wrongdoing while looking forward toward growth and self-improvement. Residents are asked to confront their psychosexual dysfunctions but not be defined by them.
Mathom House is committed to the Collaborative Approach to treatment whereby treatment goals are formulated by a multi-disciplinary treatment team. This team comprises the resident, his family, the Judiciary, Attorneys, Therapists, Case Managers, Counselors, Probation Officers, Social Workers, and Managed Care Representatives. The healthy and respectful functioning of this treatment team provides a model for the healthy functioning of the family of origin as it begins to heal from the trauma of sexual abuse.

We are proud to reflect on over 20 years of challenging work in improving the lives of troubled youth and their families and I thank you for your interest in our programs. You are invited to contact me with any inquiries.
